Jacquie’s Place! Where do I start from…………..
We have had a wonderful time at Jacquie’s and yes i say we because we all were made a part of Jacquie’s both the parents and the children.
Brume was always going to go to Jacquie’s. I like to think I had a choice with where my first child went but I really didn’t.
My Husband had told me Brume was going to go Jacquie’s and he was going to pick up the forms but I was very reluctant because I had no idea where it was or what to expect. I insisted I was going to follow him to get the forms and we went with Brume.
On the day we went to get the forms, we were welcomed by Mrs Shonibare and as usual I fired all the questions possible and was busy explaining that my son was very clingy and they MUST pay special attention to him. All Mrs Shonibare did was smile and nod. I had no idea why she was smiling. When she finally decided to respond to me she said… before I get to your questions where is Brume? I looked round thinking he is supposed to be right next to me. Mrs Shonibare said you didn’t even notice that he is in class and has been in there for 5 mins. So clearly, we do not have a problem with him just leave him with us and he would be fine.
The rest is history, because we never had any reason to be concerned about his development or level of attention that would be given to him. Brume started in the toddler class and graduated from Jacquie’s. I don’t think we have ever regretted our decision. Jacquie’s is a warm and welcoming place that any child or parent would want to be a part of.
